    Taylor-Winfield MFDC/Inverter Vertical-Action Press Type Projection Welder was built new in 2003 and never put into production! With a RoMan Model TDC-1009 MFDC Inverter-type power supply, transformer No. TP5102, this machine is a 75 KVA resistance projection welder, rated at 50% duty cycle and 25,000 secondary amps, per nameplate. This resistance welder is versatile enough for future integration of an auto load system and dial index table for increased production. Additional Specs: Tuffaloy 1" diameter x 6" long electrode holder connected to the bottom platen Dual opposed ram design (top & bottom) Light weight anodized (red) low-inertia aluminum ram design Two (2) 4-inch bore, 1.5" stroke Lynair air cylinders producing 1,005 pounds of weld force available from each cylinder at 80 PSI THK linear bearings for the rams, Type HSR Numatics Mark 55 Air Valves, 110V Sensotec Model WLP weld displacement transducer with Model WM-9200 read-out.
